To present employee-based strategies for transitioning to IoT
Atlanta, Ga. (March 22, 2018) – Aegex Technologies LLC will be one of four technology providers to participate in a panel discussion, “Preparing Employees to Manage the Digital Divide,” at eChem Expo 2018 on Thursday, April 5, in Kingsport, Tenn., USA.
The panel will focus on navigating the challenges associated with adopting new technology in manufacturing. It is to be held at 4:00 EDT as part of the Digital Transformation track of the event, and will be facilitated by Eastman Co.’s new Manager of Automation & Digital Manufacturing, Kendal Brown.
Aegex CRO Ian Klein will discuss how a phased approach to IoT, beginning with first connecting personnel in real time using certified mobile devices in hazardous industrial locations, can help employees transition to greater automation and even participate more fully in their organization’s digital transformation.
Separately during eChem Expo 2018, Klein will sit on an 11:00 EDT “rapid fire” panel focused on using enhanced reality in manufacturing.
Aegex Channel Sales Manager Scott West is to give a separate presentation at eChem Expo at 2:30 EDT about the ways intrinsically safe mobility can increase productivity in manufacturing.
