Aegex’s unified mobile, IoT platform and industry-specific applications can be used in explosive environments where traditional devices are prohibited, including oil and gas, petrochemicals, public safety and utilities industries.

Customer Support Specialist Opportunity:

Aegex is looking for engineers with basic hardware and software skills, who will be responsible for keeping contact with customers and solve our After Sales activities related to our sold devices.

Applicant’s tasks in order of competences:

  • Handling reverse logistics for device replacement or repair – including device pick-up from customer and sending them replacement device
  • Communicating with customers to understand their problems
  • Solving software/hardware related issues
  • Keeping contact with Aegex software and hardware specialists in deeper analysis
  • Completing forms such as corporate insurance, business license updates and other legal documentation
  • Assistance with documents and filling out forms/corporate documents
  • Keeping contact with the Manufacturing Department to review equipments under repair.

Qualifications/Skills Needed:

Education:

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of Windows 10 OS
  • Basic hardware knowledge of PCs, tablets, peripherals and other office tools (eg. printers, networking)
  • Knowledge of mobile networking is an advantage
  • Using multitasking, embedded OS knowledge is an advantage
  • Knowledge of x86/x64 system (BIOS, UEFI, ACPI), drivers (Windows, Linux) is an advantage

Further skills:

  • Customer support experience preferable
  • Previous telecom or technology company experience desirable
  • English (written, verbal fluently)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
