Position: Business Development Executive / Inside Sales

Our intrinsically safe, Windows-based tablets can be used in explosive environments such as oil & gas refineries or chemical manufacturing plants where traditional mobile devices are prohibited because they pose a risk of spark. Aegex devices are incapable of igniting a spark, so they are safe for use in hazardous environments. Their Windows capabilities, customizable applications and accessories and secure architecture all on a uniform platform support an easy-to-operate user interface allowing personnel to communicate and transmit data from the most volatile of environments, making operations more efficient, safe and productive.

Duties include:

     
  • Researching and cold calling target businesses
  •  
  • Selling the concept of Aegex intrinsically safe solutions and booking appointments for the next steps of the sales process
  •  
  • Holding responsibility for every part of the process, from the cold call to the close of the sale
  •  
  • For complex sales, passing vetted potential clients on to the Sales Director at a predetermined place in the sales cycle

Qualifications:

     
  • Experience in telesales / tele-prospecting B2B customers OR strong motivation to learn and succeed

  • Background in mobile technology or telecommunications
