Aegex Tablets Featured at New Microsoft Technology Center in Houston

Aegex Technologies is looking forward to showcasing its intrinsically safe Windows 10 tablet at the new Microsoft Technology Center in Houston, Texas, when it opens Jan. 14. The Aegex tablet will have a permanent place on the “device bar” at the center, which is a place where oil & gas professionals can learn about new technologies and uses of Microsoft products. The Aegex10 Intrinsically Safe Tablet is the first device to bring the power of Windows 10 to C1D1 and ATEX/IECEx Zone 1 hazardous locations, where flammable materials restrict the use of mobile devices because of risk of explosion. The tablets connect all personnel in oil & gas operations to the Internet of Things(IoT), enabling seamless connectivity that facilitates real-time data sharing. Such cloud-based enterprise mobility allows organizations to greatly improve efficiency and productivity in maintenance, work flow and safety, for optimized industrial operations.
