Below are details of our warranty offerings. Read on for full information about the Standard and Extended Warranties, Expedited (previously Comprehensive) Warranty, and Extended Battery Warranty.

This Standard Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty (this “Standard Warranty”) for Aegex Technologies, LLC (as well as any subsidiaries, and affiliates thereof, collectively, “Aegex”) covers mobile devices sold. This Standard Warranty does not affect your legal (statutory) rights under your applicable national laws relating to the sale of consumer products.

Aegex provides this limited warranty to you who have purchased the Aegex product(s) included in the sales package (“Product”).

Aegex warrants to you that during the warranty period Aegex or a designee will in a commercially reasonable time remedy defects in materials, design and workmanship free of charge by repairing or, should Aegex in its discretion deem it necessary, replacing the product in accordance with this limited warranty (unless otherwise required by law).

The product may consist of several different parts and different parts may be covered by a different warranty period (hereinafter “Warranty Period”). The different warranty periods are:
a) Twelve (12) months for the mobile device
b) Six (6) months for batteries, chargers, docks, headsets, cables and covers
c) The protection period starts upon customers receipt of the device
Unless required differently under applicable law, the warranty period will not be extended or renewed.
Prior to returning the device under warranty the customer and/or partner must make a best reasonable effort to resolve the fault. Aegex will provide support through email and telephone to assist with either resolving the fault or creating an RMA for returning to Aegex.

To return a product under warranty the customer must apply for and receive a RMA from Aegex Technologies by using the Aegex website. Please return your product to Aegex or its designee.

Any claim under this limited warranty is subject to you notifying Aegex or a Aegex authorized service company of the defect within a reasonable time of it having come to your attention and in any event no later than before the expiration of the warranty period.
When making a claim under this Limited Warranty you will be required to provide all of the following:

Full details to enable return shipment of the repaired device:
• Contact name
• Company name
• Postal Address
• PO Box or ZIP/post code
• Phone & fax Number
• Email address for shipment tracking and correspondence

The Product information required:
• Model part number
• Serial number
• IMEI number
• Copy of the original proof of purchase (original invoice)
• Description of the fault

This information is mandatory for creating a RMA for the claim. Failure to submit all this information can result in a delaying the issuing of an RMA

What is not covered under ‘Standard Warranty?’
This limited warranty does not cover:
a) Normal wear and tear including without limitation; Camera lenses, batteries and the glass display panel
b) Defects caused by using the product in an environment outside the operating specifications of the product
c) Defects or damage caused by misuse of the product, including use that is contrary to the instructions provided
d) Acts of nature, war or natural disasters
e) User manuals, third party software, settings, data & software license keys
f) Damage caused by incorrectly or inadequate protective packing the device for shipping
g) Any attempt to modify, repair or enhance the product not sanctioned by Aegex
h) Loss or theft

The limited warranty shall be voided if the product is not used correctly and/or as directed related to or in any way in connection with any hazardous and/or explosive environment.

This limited warranty is for manufacture hardware failure and does not cover any and all software installed onto the device by the customer or its partners.

If the product’s serial number or IMEI number has been removed, erased, defaced, altered or are illegible repair shall be determined in the sole discretion of Aegex.

The Aegex extended warranty will extend the standard warranty by an extra Two (2) years. Thus giving in total Three (3) years of warranty cover.
Aegex will make the best effort to repair or replace the device within ten (10) business days from receipt at the Aegex service depot.

The customer must obtain a RMA from the Aegex website prior to returning the device. Failure to do so will result in longer time-to-repair.

It is the responsibility of the customer to bare all the costs for returning the faulty device to Aegex. This include (but is not limited too); registered shipping, shipping insurance and customs costs.

Aegex will bear the costs of returning the device to the customer’s location, excluding customs charges in the destination country. The receiver will bear the responsibility to coordinate with the shipper to clear customs and pay any moneys owed.

The customers is responsible for using adequate protective packaging, Aegex strongly recommends customers retain some of the original Aegex product packaging in the event a device need to be returned.

Aegex is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misdirected shipment. Customers are required to send the faulty product back to Aegex using a registered (and insured) courier service that can be tracked by using a publically available website.

Prior to returning the device the customer must remove and retain the battery cellular network SIM cards and flash memory cards.

If battery warranty is being claimed the battery must be removed from the device and include separately for shipping.

Customer can claim battery warranty for one of the following:
a) The battery is incapable of retaining more than 50% of its charge after being on charge for more than 4 hours
b) The battery becomes deformed or shows physical signs of malfunction
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure all software licenses, data and all company sensitive information is removed from the device prior to shipping. Aegex is not responsible for loss of any software, license keys or data.
This limited warranty is your sole and exclusive remedy against Aegex and Aegex sole and exclusive liability in respect of defects in your product. This limited warranty replaces all other Aegex warranties and liabilities, whether oral, written, (non-mandatory) statutory, contractual, in tort or otherwise, including, without limitation, and where permitted by applicable law, any implied conditions, warranties or other terms as to satisfactory, quality or fitness for purpose.

However, this limited warranty shall neither exclude nor limit:
a) Any of your legal (statutory) rights under the applicable national laws or
b) Any of your rights against the seller of the product.

To the extent permitted by applicable law(s) Aegex does not assume any liability for loss of or damage to or corruption of data, for any loss of profit, loss of use of products or functionality, loss of business, loss of contracts, loss of revenues or loss of anticipated savings, increased costs or expenses or for any indirect loss or damage, consequential loss or damage.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Aegex liability shall be limited to the purchase value of the Product. The above limitations shall not apply in case of gross negligence or intentional misconduct of Aegex or in case of death or personal injury resulting from Aegex proven negligence.

Your Product is a sophisticated electronic device. Aegex Technologies strongly encourages you to read and understand the user guide and instructions provided with and for the Product. Please also note that the Product might contain high precision displays, camera lenses and other such parts, which could be scratched or otherwise damaged if not handled very carefully.

Aegex will respond with:
a) Email the customer the RMA number to be used in all correspondence
b) Email the customer details of the replacement device shipment
c) Email the customer details for courier collection of the fault device
d) Send a replacement device to the designated address within two (2) business days where available of the RMA conformation

Aegex will bear the costs of collecting the faulty device and shipping a replacement to the designated address. Aegex will pay for customs charges in the destination country, the receiver will bear the responsibility to coordinate with the shipper to clear customs.

The customers is responsible for using adequate protective packaging, Aegex strongly recommends customers retain some of the original Aegex product packaging in the event a device need to be returned.

The battery is not included in the extended Expedited warranty programme. The standard warranty applies and will cover the first six (6) months from date of delivery.

If the customer wishes to include the battery for the same period as the Expedited (previously Comprehensive) warranty period, the customer must purchase the separate ‘Extended Battery Warranty’ product from Aegex.

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure all software licenses, data and all company sensitive information is removed from the device prior to shipping. Aegex is not responsible for loss of any software, license keys or data.
This Expedited (previously Comprehensive) Warranty is your sole and exclusive remedy against Aegex and Aegex sole and exclusive liability in respect of defects in your product. This Expedited Warranty replaces all other Aegex warranties and liabilities, whether oral, written, (non-mandatory) statutory, contractual, in tort or otherwise, including, without limitation, and where permitted by applicable law, any implied conditions, warranties or other terms as to satisfactory, quality or fitness for purpose.

However, this Expedited (previously Comprehensive) Warranty shall neither exclude nor limit:
a) Any of your legal (statutory) rights under the applicable national laws or
b) Any of your rights against the seller of the product.

To the extent permitted by applicable law(s) Aegex does not assume any liability for loss of or damage to or corruption of data, for any loss of profit, loss of use of products or functionality, loss of business, loss of contracts, loss of revenues or loss of anticipated savings, increased costs or expenses or for any indirect loss or damage, consequential loss or damage.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Aegex liability shall be limited to the purchase value of the Product. The above limitations shall not apply in case of gross negligence or intentional misconduct of Aegex or in case of death or personal injury resulting from Aegex proven negligence.

This extended battery warranty for Aegex Technologies, LLC (as well as any subsidiaries, and affiliates thereof, collectively, “Aegex”) covers batteries sold under the extended warranty product. This extended battery Warranty does not affect your legal (statutory) rights under your applicable national laws relating to the sale of consumer products. Aegex provides this extended battery warranty to you who have purchased the Aegex product(s) included in the sales package (“Product”).

Aegex warrants to you that during the extended warranty period Aegex or a designee will in a commercially reasonable time remedy defects in materials, design and workmanship free of charge by repairing or, should Aegex in its discretion deem it necessary, replacing the product in accordance with this extended batter warranty (unless otherwise required by law).

The warranty period starts at the time of product’s original date of purchased for a period of thirty-six (36) months.
Prior to creating an RMA under the extended battery warranty the customer and/or partner must make a best reasonable effort to resolve the fault. Aegex will provide support through email and telephone to assist with either resolving the fault or creating an RMA for replacing the battery.

To make a claim under the extended battery warranty the customer must apply for and receive a RMA from Aegex Technologies by using the Aegex website.

The customer must obtain a RMA from the Aegex website. Aegex will ship the customer a replacement battery within two (2) business days where available after the RMA has been issued.

Aegex will pay for shipping the replacement battery to the customer, including all customs duties levied.

The method of delivering the replacement battery is at the discretion of Aegex. Aegex will choose a courier service that is qualified to ship batteries into the customer’s destination country.

The customer does not return the faulty battery to Aegex and is required to responsibly dispose of the battery in accordance with any and all local laws.
This extended battery warranty is your sole and exclusive remedy against Aegex and Aegex sole and exclusive liability in respect of defects in your product. This extended battery warranty replaces all other Aegex warranties and liabilities, whether oral, written, (non-mandatory) statutory, contractual, in tort or otherwise, including, without limitation, and where permitted by applicable law, any implied conditions, warranties or other terms as to satisfactory, quality or fitness for purpose.
